We came in it was actually quite late, still the staff was willing to serve us and were quite welcoming even when the place was busy. The menu it was actually quite good and they had everything that was on it, we decided to order the Steak Sandwich Francesinha which it was great and full of taste, we also saw they are specialised in Chicken which we will definitely want to try if we come back again. The prices were quite affordable and we had a great experience overall. The parking is located on the back of the street which is paid but not so expensive in case there’s no space available on the front of the restaurant l.

Wasn't sure about this little cafe when I found it on Google maps but popped my head in before confirming and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely welcome from the staff , decor and smells coming from the kitchen. Stayed for a selection of Portuguese tapas which was amazing. Especially the gambas and the chorizo New favourite restaurant in Plymouth. Even went back for morning coffee and pastries

Went to Plymouth as a work trip, and was looking for Portuguese food to win brownie points with my Portuguese girlfriend. Went here on the recommendation of colleagues and wasn't disappointed, the place is authentic Portuguese and the staff are very hospitable. I ended up visiting this place 3 times. I tried the Rissois, and can't explain to you how good the meat ones were. Next i tried the chirrausco- peri peri chicken and chorizo. Loved this dish, was typical authentic Portuguese with the fried egg, rice and fries. Finally i tried the Francesinho sandwich. I can't explain to you how much you need to try this. This is meat heaven and will open your mind to a new dish. Melted cheese over white bread with different types of meat in a tomato beer sauce. Its definitely heavy but worth a try, like once a year so you don't end up with a heart attack sooner.

Most authentic Portuguese food you can find in the area! Pork belly and chicken is on a different level ...

Really lovely place with great delicious food. It was really hard to choose what to eat because everything sounded so good. There was a small error with my order but the staff couldn't help enough to fix it without any fuss which shows the quality of the place.

The place, a true hidden gem, the people, just amazing, the food, spectacular ! Really felt like we were in Portugal ! Congratulations on everything you're doing! Both with the shop and especially with the restaurant!

Great local business run by wonderful people. Very authentic Portuguese dishes with fresh ingredients and nice charcoal grill. This is one of the very rare places that offers gorgeous seafood dish and as a Japanese, it's so precious! Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Owners couple are always fun, warm, hardworking and pleasant. Never had any disappointment and I always come back to enjoy special moment. During the first lockdown, they did coffee takeaway. I love their custard and cinnamon roll

One of my favourite restaurants. I travel a lot with work and this is a really amazing find. The restaurant is authentically themed Portuguese with a friendly Portuguese family running it. One of the first things you notice is how happy the staff are, although I don't understand Portuguese I can tell the banter is alive! I arrived at 8pm on Tuesday and was seated immediately in their large restaurant. The restaurant is barely visible from the front but the building is like a tardis, once you step inside the size of the place and the authenticity open up before your eyes. On this occasion I had Tuna with chips and salad, previously I had a seafood and rice dish (see photos) called Cateplana. On both occasions the food was perfectly cooked and the portions are phenomenal. I'd say that you should arrive hungry and expect to leave complete! I had the Tuna, salad and chips (14.5) half carafe (50cl) of red wine for 9. Previously, Cateplana for 22, Lg glass of red 6.5. Both excellent value. I look forward to returning very soon.
